Claim your listing in four steps
We confirm ownership through the business email address recorded on your regulator entry, so only the firm itself can claim its listing.
Find your firm
Search the directory for your firm name or SRA number and open your listing.
Request to claim
Fill in the claim request form with your firm name and regulator number.
Confirm by email
We send a confirmation link to your regulator-recorded business email. Click it to prove the firm is yours.
Complete your profile
Add your details and fuller profile. Your Verified label and badge go live once we have reviewed it.

Once your listing is verified, paste a badge onto your website, your email signature or your proposals. It is plain HTML with no scripts and no tracking, and it links to your listing.

Badge guidelines
- Only display the badge once your listing shows as Verified
- Link it to your own listing page, as the code does
- Leave the wording unchanged. You can resize it or change the surrounding layout
- It shows that your listing has been claimed and confirmed. It is not a quality rating, ranking or endorsement
- If your authorisation ends or your listing is removed, take the badge down

Does it cost anything to claim?
No. Claiming and verifying is free for regulated firms. Featured listings are a separate paid option and are always labelled as such.
Who can claim a listing?
Someone authorised to act for the firm, using the business email address recorded on the firm’s regulator entry. If that email is out of date, update it with your regulator first, or contact us and we will find another way to confirm.
Does a Verified badge mean you recommend the firm?
No. Verified means the firm has claimed its listing and confirmed it is the firm named. It is not an endorsement or a ranking of quality. Users should always check a firm’s regulator entry and speak to the firm before instructing it.
Can I edit my listing afterwards?
Yes. Verified firms can update their details and profile at any time. We review changes before they go live.
Our firm is not in the directory. Can we be added?
Yes. Submit your firm and we will check your authorisation before it goes live.
What does the badge code do?
It is a single link with inline styling. It loads no scripts or tracking from us and does not slow your site down.
